My name is Sonya Arp. Originally from Kingsport in upper east Tennessee, I moved to Tellico Plains in 1992. I discovered Tellico Plains when my Dad met my
I have raised my two children in these wonderful mountains. I enjoy hiking, riding horses, flower gardening, ”taking a back road” exploring with my husband and taking tons of pictures of our beautiful flowers, mountains, rivers
I came to work at Tellico Mountain Realty in the spring of 2005. As the office

Hello. My name is Cheryl Malagon. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I spent a lot of time growing
up at my grandparents’ farm in Amos, Ky. This is where my love of living in the country began.
I moved to Florida at age 19 and obtained my master’s degree from the University of South Florida. I
worked in the probation field for over 27 years, spending the last 23 years at Federal Probation. I was
also an adjunct instructor at two small colleges.
Since becoming a Realtor, I obtained my GRI status, and plan to pursue my GRI Master. I am a big
believer in continuing education, and to never stop learning. I believe that helps those I work with in
staying up-to-date in my field.
One thing I have always liked to do is help people. I truly enjoy meeting the wonderful people in
Tennessee, and the beauty of this area. In addition to hiking in the breathtaking mountains here, I
love horseback riding, motorcycle riding, yoga and gardening. I am passionate about spending time
with my family, our two dogs, our two Tennessee Walkers, and our rescue donkey. I previously
volunteered at Horse Haven of Tennessee, where we helped to care for the horses confiscated by
law enforcement, and I met some amazing people who are committed to this cause. That’s where I
fell in love with and adopted our donkey Perseus from (trust me, my husband did not see that one
After my husband retired from over 30 years in law enforcement, we moved here to Tennessee after
both retiring in 2014, though we had strong ties to East Tennessee going back more than 16 years.
When we rode up on our motorcycle and saw the deer grazing on what would become our foothills
property, we just knew we were home. I would love to help you have that moment.

My name is Corrina Ashe. I was born in Wurtzburg, Germany while my father was in the Army and raised in Georgia. Many years later I met husband while he was serving in the Army. We settled in East Tennessee over thirty years ago and started our family.
My love for this beautiful area, as well as the people here whose referrals are the foundation of my business, have fostered a successful real estate career which began in 2002. I earned my REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation in my pursuit to gain in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate. I was awarded ‘Best Real Estate Agent’ in our area in 2011 and 2013.
When not spending time with my grandchildren I am passionately involved in our local Jail Ministry, River of Life Ministries, as well as The House that Mercy Built which is a non-profit, faith-based residential program that provides a safe environment for women to be transformed from the inside out.
Three words you can count on from me are passion, love, and fun. Contact me today so I can show you the best our area has to offer.
Hi! I am Nancy Davila, formerly well traveled, now, for the past 24+ years, a happy East Tennessean, smitten with the natural beauty, peace and “sense of place” offered by this mountain home and community. I am an outdoor enthusiast and a conservation minded nature lover.
Having escaped city life all those years ago, my spouse Al Davila and I found our utopia here in these mountains. Best move we ever made! We reside on the quintessential farmette which includes “Sugar”, our beloved paint mare, Fluffy cat, a large flock of free range multicolored bantam chickens and wildlife galore, all of which we cherish.
During my twenty plus years in real estate I have assisted many happy residents in finding their coveted place here. My specialty is acreage and farms, however, with my in depth knowledge of this area and enthusiasm for real estate in general, I’ll gladly assist you in finding what you seek including homes, cabins, lake properties and commercial properties.
Now having evolved into this phase of my real estate profession, I am available by appointment only. I enjoy helping fellow nature enthusiasts, seekers of peace; tranquility and quality of life find their special place.
Let me put my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to work for you in finding your unique spot in beautiful East Tennessee. For my undivided attention in assisting you in achieving your real estate goals, call me for an appointment.
Where can you find fabulous restaurants, great entertainment, warm and friendly people, mile-high vistas, brilliant seasonal foliage, great hiking opportunities, and outdoor recreation in magnificent settings all in one place? In East Tennessee that I have delighted in calling my home for the last 30 years. I’m Jan Oglesbee and I treasure these mountains that I call home.
In addition to bringing over 20 years of experience and knowledge of the real estate market, as well as a certification in second homes, I take the time to get to know my clients and consider my work a success once they become my friends and neighbors.
When not selling real estate I take pleasure in spending time with my grandkids and relaxing on my back porch with my husband as our horses graze in the pastures beyond, taking in the exquisite beauty this area affords. In my opinion from sunrise to sunset, and all the time in between, the mountains of South East Tennessee are the place to be.
Grew up in the 50’s on the Tennessee River north of Chattanooga near what was then Soddy
before the area became Soddy-Daisy. Father had commercial refrigeration business and
mother was library volunteer. High school in Chattanooga and then went to University of
North Carolina for BS degree and then to Nashville to attend grad school at Vanderbilt. While
working at a motorcycle dealership I met several people in the real estate business and
became an affiliate broker and two l years later acquired a broker’s license and started my
company in Franklin, TN with four agents. This was early 70’ and the financial crisis with 14%
interest loans broke me.
Went back to school at what was then UT Nashville and began an engineering curriculum.
Worked with several manufactur1ing companies and after designing a 25-ton telescoping
boom for a heavy equipment manufacturer became their Chief Engineer, some years later
serving as the Plant Superintendent for an Emerson Electric factory. In the late 80’s I started
my own company designing and building special machines for industry. Some of the work I
found interesting was designing the machine that assembled the ABS braking models for
Chrysler products and the machining process for the Patriot missile stabilizers. “Retired” in
2018 and moved to Etowah from middle Tennessee.
My recreational activities seem to involve internal combustion engines or water. I have
navigated the Tennessee River from Knoxville to the Mississippi River in my 16’ open bow
and kayak the local rivers almost every month. I have built four airplanes, accumulating over
1000 hours of stick time and was a flight instructor for Experimental aircraft for about 20
years. One of my main hobbies is restoring and riding vintage motorcycles. I ride almost
every day the roads are not damp (can’t get them dirty) and still have the bike I rode to
California in 1969. Used to ride the Forestry service around Tellico Plains with my father in
the 60’s. It was a different world then.
Only one child and twin grandchildren from my daughter who lives in Knoxville. Live near
We love east Tennessee because of the beautiful roads to ride our motorcycles and explore waterfalls, mountains, and valley views. We believe we found a little slice of heaven on earth. We ride horses on some of the most amazing trails you can imagine, and the nearby Cherokee National Forest and Great Smoky Mountains have miles and miles of trails to explore.
Real estate is a second career for me and one I wish I had started from the beginning of my working life because it brings me so much joy. My husband recently became a real estate agent, and we are now Team Gracy and work from our home office most days. We love being able to walk outside our home office to watch the horses graze and the chickens roam the fields. I love finding the perfect home for a buyer or helping a seller transition to the next part of their home ownership phase. I think of myself as a real estate matchmaker and am deeply passionate about it. Many of my real estate clients become close friends and part of our sphere of influence. Can’t think of a better job opportunity.

I have been blessed enough to establish myself as an honest, ethical, and detailed professional. Having made my living in the Oil refineries in Southern California, I have grown to be flexible and responsive to the quickly changing demands of the world. This education has given me the well-rounded foundation and perspective for buyer, budgets, needs and long-term goals.
I am thankful I can now utilize those assets in the real estate industry and its customers.
Having retired from our professions, my wife and I could have moved anywhere in the US, but chose Tellico Plains and the answer to why, is easy. The four seasons we get to experience here are absolutely beautiful. We love how friendly the people here are, and who wouldn’t want a calm lifestyle where we can focus on spending quality time with our family?! Our grandchildren very much enjoy spending time on the boat, fishing, going mudding on the mule, playing around on the quads and dirt bikes, catching frogs in the pond, and chasing chickens around. Here, we get to experience it all, and we wouldn’t look back.
Spending most of my life with the hobby of truck racing, even competing in the Baja 500 as a crew chief, I’ve learned to adapt to new challenges. I even taught myself a new way to safely drive with my hand on top of the steering wheel, so I could wave back to all our fans while driving.
If you are looking for your dream home in the East Tennessee area, let me take the wheel on this one.
from the big city of Knoxville, TN. We both graduated from the University of Tennessee and love this
area. We found our dream farm/ranch home where we have horses, chickens and grow our own
garden and fruit trees; we call it the Triple G Ranch. Our neighbors are a tremendous reason we
love where we moved to and now consider them family. As my wife put it, “We have developed close
bonds with our neighbors, and we rely on each other for help, friendship, advice, and support. It’s
like nothing we’ve experienced before and a bonus we didn’t expect.”
We are avid motorcycle riders as well and this area is like the mecca of motorcycle roads. Being
members of the Blue Knights International Motorcycle Club, we have several members from around
the world coming to ride this area and even staying overnight with us. East Tennessee has the most
scenic roads with waterfalls, mountains, and valley views that will find anywhere on earth. We also
ride horses and have met some of the nicest people who also ride. They have become great friends
and we all go riding/camping as often as we can. The Cherokee National Forest and Great Smoky
Mountains have miles and miles of trails to explore.
Coming from the city where I was a salesperson most of my life for newspapers and magazines, it
was a welcome transition in my real estate career. My wife and I have teamed up to become Gracy
Squared (G2). When we aren’t in the Tellico Mountain Realty office, we love having an office at our
home where we can work while looking over the Triple G Ranch and enjoy the animals and our
My wife and I would love to help you find your perfect home too. We know the feeling of finding that
house that just fits perfect and we look forwarding to finding just that for you. Many of our real estate
clients who moved here have become great friends as well.

My name is Suzanne Ogle. Although I have lived all over the United States, for the past 40 years I have
